Two large tree lined parks are at the center of this community; Broadway Park and Cornwall Park for which this neighborhood gets its name. At the southern portion of the Cornwall Park neighborhood is the Fountain District where many older and well established businesses call home. To the north is a light industrial area which includes Bellingham’s only hospital St. Joseph Hospital. Alongside the hospital are many other medical centers offering specialized clinics and care for the elderly.
Many of the homes in the Cornwall Park Neighborhood are fairly large in size and offer both front and back yard space. There are very few duplexes and apartments found in this area.
