Samish Hill Neighborhood

Samish Hill, a rural, hilly neighborhood is located at the southern end of Bellingham. The newer homes in this area have been constructed on the western hillside whereas the older homes were built adjacent to Samish Way around Mill Street. Both the newer and older homes have views of Happy Valley below and Bellingham Bay in the distance. At the bottom of the hill in the northern edge of the neighborhood are some apartment complexes.

On the hillside east of Samish Way in the northern section of the neighborhood you will find the subdivision of Ridgemont. East of Ridgemont and north of Lake Padden some newer housing developments have begun sprouting up. Views of Chuckanut Mountain, Bellingham Bay, and the San Juans can be seen from many of these new homes, especially the larger homes higher up on the hill.

Schools

Happy Valley Elementary, Fairhaven Middle School and Sehome High School is the typical public school track for the Samish Hill Neighborhood.
