Fairhaven Neighborhood

The Fairhaven Neighborhood has a rich history. After slipping into a depression in the late 1800’s the Fairhaven Neighborhood is now seeing a rejuvenation of life and growth. The commercial districts buildings are being refurbished with commercial space below and condominiums on top. New shops and  restaurants are bringing life back to the neighborhood without losing it’s old school charm. Many of the historic brick buildings can still be seen today.

The Fairhaven Neighborhood is a great mix of the new and the old. If condo living isn’t your style, south of Donovan boasts a variety of cozy older homes that are within walking distance to everything Fairhaven has to offer. The Bellingham Cruise Terminal is also located in the Fairhaven Neighborhood which offers trips to the San Juan Islands. Located next door is the Amtrack Train Station and Greyhound Bus terminal to service all your travel needs.
