Chuckanut Drive

Chuckanut Drive located on scenic Route 11 which runs from Old Fairhaven to Skagit Valley boasts some of the most spectacular views of Samish Bay and the San Juan Islands. The windy road curves through Chuckanut and Blanchard Mountains with several spots to pull over and enjoy the view. Many of the homes built here are lucky enough to have unobstructed views of the sound including breathtaking sunsets.

Some of the most expensive homes in Whatcom County are found here. Chuckanut Drive also has two gated communities. Chuckanut offers an abundance of trails for day hikes for all skill levels along with several public beaches perfect for a picnic or a stroll along the coastline.

Schools

Elementary students will attend Lowell Elementary. Middle School kids are slated to attend Fairhaven Middle School and High School Students will attend Sehome High.
